Dr. Sharon Arffa, PhD, MPPH
Dr. Sharon Arffa is a clinical neuropsychologist with over two decades of experience evaluating and treating brain and nervous system disorders, with a focus on how neurological conditions affect thinking, behavior, and emotional well-being. She earned her PhD in Psychology from Indiana University, following a Master of Science in Psychology from SUNY Owego and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Over her career, Dr. Arffa has held leadership roles including Chief of Neuropsychology at the Watson Institute, Chief of the Pediatric Neuropsychology Division in Sewickley, PA, and Clinical Director of Clinical Services at SCIHP. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Organisation for Rehabilitation Through Training, and has been recognized as a Noteworthy Psychologist by Marquis Who's Who.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Arffa brings a lifelong passion for art into her advocacy, holding an advanced certificate in botanical art and serving on the executive board of Twist Out Cancer's Brushes with Cancer program — combining her psychological expertise with artistic expression to support cancer patients and survivors.

Tom Stevenson, MBA, MPP
Tom is a native Texan who grew up in both rural communities and major metropolitan areas across the state. He is passionate about improving healthcare access and outcomes for Texas's most vulnerable and underserved populations.
Tom spent more than 25 years working with organizations ranging from startups to large multinational companies across a wide variety of industries in the United States and internationally. During his career, he lived and worked in more than eight countries across Latin America, Africa, Europe, and Asia, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
He holds a BA in Economics from Rice University, a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has also served his community for more than 15 years as a volunteer EMT, firefighter, and district commissioner. In addition to his nonprofit work, Tom operates a healthcare company focused on serving underserved behavioral health populations.
As a Founding Volunteer and Advisor to Texas Behavioral Health Foundation, Tom supports the organization's strategic development, working closely with the Foundation's Founder and Board of Directors to help build the organizational capacity needed to advance the Foundation's mission throughout Texas.
