Board of Directors
The Foundation is governed by a board of five directors initially appointed by the Texas Board of Health. Collectively, board members possess demonstrated skills and familiarity with finance, public health and economics, especially as they affect the border region. Officers, employees, and paid consultants of health care trade associations and their spouses cannot serve as directors. Registered lobbyists are also prohibited from serving.
